Nära och bra boende, har allt man behöver vid vistelsen, nära till affärer och trevlig värdinna. Lite smådyrt dock med sån gammal standard och lite slitet i allmänhet. Men lugnt och tyst på nätterna, sov som en stock.

Bodde här två nätter då under en jobbvistelse. Ett smidigt boende ett stenkast från mest centrala Övertorneå. Väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma ägare. Varmt, välstädat och alla faciliteter man kan tänkas behöva.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Paul and Maria have the most beautiful energy and are committed to making this a holiday of a lifetime.

We travelled with a friend in their 80’s who is wheel chair bound. She had the most incredible sense of adventure and Paul and Maria made those dreams come true.

So many incredible activities out and about to watching the northern lights from the wood fired hot tub. Just magical.

Thanks for a trip of a lifetime.

This is a nice and clean apartement, centrally located but still with a beautiful nature view on the back of the house. The host was friendly and very service minded and available for support and questions. A plus is also that it works well for a person in wheel chair.

This trip would not have been at all possible for me, at 86, had it not been for Paul willing transporting me in a wheelchair in his specially fitted van. It has to be one of the best trips I have ever undertaken. My sincere thanks to Paul + Maria for the wonderful activities they organised for us. Who knew I could do dog and reindeer sledding on a frozen river at my age!! Meeting and spending time with both locals and expats across Scandinavia made our trip so much more enjoyable and memorable.

We had such a wonderful time at the Friendly Moose! Paul and Maria are such great hosts; we felt so welcome and looked after! All the activities were organized for also our wheelchair-depending daughter, no problem. No mountain to high, no snow too deep 🙂. Paul would also be a good teacher, all the stories he knows about Lapland and the way he tells them. We now know more about Sami and their way of living, but also about so much more topics!
Thanks to Paul and Maria we had a great holiday with amazing memories to look back to. Am home for five days now, but still smiling. Bought a fire-starter packet by the way, we now know how to do that.
Thank you again Paul and Maria, hope to see you again one summer (the colours are so beautiful in your pictures) or winter.

Wat een geweldige ervaring!! Paul en Maria zijn zo gastvrij! Ze doen er alles aan om je met rolstoel met alles mee te laten doen. Overal wordt aan gedacht. Met tussendoor veel humor en gezelligheid! Alles wordt geregeld, je hoeft alleen maar te genieten van de prachtige tochten en ervaringen. Het is iedereen aan te raden!!

Our party which consisted of myself, my husband and our thirty year old son who is a wheelchair user in one apartment; my brother in law and my sister in law who is also a wheelchair user, in the second apartment, stayed at The Friendly Moose in November 2019. The accommodation was just as described, it was warm, comfortable and extremely well equipped for the special needs of my son and sister in law. What made it so relaxing was knowing that Maria and Paul were always close by in case there were any difficulties. Fortunately there weren't!||Maria and Paul were amazing right from the very start to the very end of our stay - they not only arranged all of the activities and trips, transported us everywhere, they also provided invaluable assistance to ensure my son and sister in law were able to participate fully and safely in all of the activities. Activities that included sledging, meeting the moose and reindeers; an incredible experience meeting the huskies and finishing the day off with a huskie ride across the frozen lake. We also enjoyed a ride in the snow mobile expertly driven by Paul around the local area, taking in the amazingly beautiful scenery. The people we met along the way were lovely, really friendly and patient, and all seemed to go out of their way to make each activity so memorable for us.||Maria and Paul helped us to have one of the best holidays we have ever had and we hope to return one day.||Chris form Derby
