Vi hade en fantastisk dag med Micke där han tålmodigt och pedagogiskt visade oss flugfiskets tjusning. Vi kände oss välkomna från första stund med hans genomtänkta, professionella och trevliga sätt.
Vi gick igenom flugfiskets grunder, fick provkasta och åkte ut till älven och fick börja.
Kändes tryggt att på vingliga ben ha Micke vid sin sida som ledde oss ut till våra resp kastplatser. Vi fick alla fyra känna på napp och en fick upp en harr som fick gå tillbaka. Micke var väldigt mån om att alla skulle få känna på hur det känns med fiskkontakt.
Sedan dags för lunch!! En suverän genomtänkt rätt!!!

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, zwei Tage mit Micke als unserem Angelguide zu verbringen, und es war eine großartige Erfahrung! Micke ist nicht nur unglaublich kompetent und erfahren, sondern auch ein super Typ, der die Zeit auf dem Wasser wirklich angenehm macht. Er kennt die besten Spots und hat uns geholfen, tolle Fänge zu machen. Besonders gefreut hat uns, dass wir sein Boot benutzen durften, das in einwandfreiem Zustand und perfekt für das Fliegenfischen ist

Micke hat uns zu einigen der besten Seen geführt, die ideal für unser Vorhaben waren. Sein Boot bietet alles, was man für eine erfolgreiche Angeltour braucht, und es war eine Freude, damit auf den Seen unterwegs zu sein. Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit und können Micke als Guide nur wärmstens empfehlen

My partner and I had a fantastic time on our guided fly fishing trip! I have fly fished for a number of years but she was brand new and Micke worked with us to create a personalized and memorable trip - teaching her and equipping me with a good fly rod and local river knowledge. Even with some challenging wind conditions Micke delivered a great experience for our first time in Sweden, combining the fishing with good conversation, local Swedish and Älvdalen culture, and good food surrounded by incredible nature. I would not hesitate visiting again to try some of the other guided trips available!

To anyone who is thinking about booking with Micke, do it. It isn't just about the world class fishing. Micke is a guide on the water, but he is also a guide to the local food and culture.
My trip was a little bit different than originally planned. The river he normally guides on was flooded. I also arrived a day early to town. Knowing that the fishing would be tougher, Micke took me out on a lake the night before, just because.
The following day we hit up some smaller rivers in the area. I mentioned I loved forests and Micke made a point of showing me off stretches of land with beautiful forests on them. He really does go above and beyond.

We spend one day with Micke trying flyfishing for our very first time. He did a really good job to teach us the technique and understanding of the fish. But most of all was it a super nice day to experience the nature of älvdalen, eat a outdoor lunch from the fire and have interesting discussions with Micke.
